On wednesday, 7 June 2017, the culinary event "27 on yout the Plate" took place in the premises of the European Parliament's Esplanade in Brussels. Visitors had the opportunity to taste typical regional specialties from all over Europe at EU stands, as well as to learn more about every country.
The event took place from 12:00 to 19:00 and the program was amended by accompanying events. The South Moravian Region used this opportunity to give visitors useful information about our region, among other things with help of the quiz that we prepared.In addition, the participants could taste excellent South Moravian wines, greaves, sausages and pastry-products of the students of baker, confectioner, sausager major prepared by the Střední škola potravinářská, obchodu a služeb Brno, Charbulova!
The Czech Republic was represented by the Representation of the South Moravian, Pilsen, Pardubice, Central-Bohemian and Vysočina region Jihomoravský and also by the capital of Prague with the support and co-organization of the Czech Embassy in Brussels.
