KJMK organized an excursion in Serbia for eight students from the South Slavic studies at Masaryk University in Brno, which took place from 17th of September to 23rd of September, 2017. The program was, as in previous years, focused on the partner region of South Moravian Region: Šumadija, but there were also trips beyond its imaginary borders. The program again did not miss a visit to historical places, such as the medieval Maglijk castle towering majestically over the Ibar River, Manasija monasteries, Žiča and Studenica, or the place where the 1st Serbian uprising against the Ottoman domination in Orašč started. There was also a sightseeing of natural beauties, such as the Carpathian Caves of Resava or the "Veliki Buk" waterfall. In short, even those who prefer cities were not left behind. Two days of excursion were dedicated to Kragujevec and Belgrade.
