During the Days of Czech culture in Kragujevec on 10th of October, 2016, the opening of the exhibition dedicated to Czech family Fialových took place. Fialovy family came to Kragujevec in late 70s of the 19th century started a successful business in these times underdeveloped Serbia and soon was among the most important and richest industrialists in the country. The ceremonial opening, took place at the premises of the building of the National Library "Vuk Karadzic 'in Kragujevec ,attended students of Czech language in Kragujevac, along with their teacher Jan Zorbič.

On 3rd of October, the courses at the University of Zadar succesfully began in the academic year 2016/2017. During the winter semester the University offered 3 optional courses related to the Czech language to the students.

On Wednesday, 28 September 2016, a conference entitled "The contribution of EU regional policy to managing future challenges" took place in the premises of Committee of the Regions. Political representatives from 332 regions across the EU, representing 71.5% of the EU population and representatives of 5 interregional organizations, have shown their interest in preserving cohesion policy in the future by signing the joint statement "A strong renewed regional policy for all regions after 2020".

For the first time this year, had the Croatian students from the University of Zadar opportunity to be part of the intensive czech language courses at Sokolnice, organized by our office (KJMK), during the 14th to 26 of August.
The participation of Croatian students in ten days long Czech language courses engage local regional newspaper attention. Zadarski newspaper published a two-page article accompanied by the photographs on 26th of September.

The courses of Czech language in the premises of the Grammar School "Milos Savkovic" at Arandjelovec started on Thursday, 22tj of September 2016. Lessons of Czech language attend students of the secondary school, which is a partner school of Grammar school Vídeňská at Brno. The courses have two language levels. The course for beginners consist of 32 school students.

Within the course of the Czech language in Kragujevac there are currently four groups in three different languages levels. Class for beginners group, which is pursued in the First Kragujevac Gymnasium and is intended for all those interested in learning Czech, was launched on Monday, 19th of September 2016.

During the 11th to 17th of September 2016 the sightseeing trip to Serbia was held in the framework of activities our office (KJMK). The trip gathered seven students of Serbian and South Slavic languages from Masaryk University at Brno. Program of excursion was oriented at the partner region of South Moravian Region, on Šumadija District and its surroundings.

Office of the South-Moravian region for interregional cooperation, in cooperation with the Captain Jaros Gymnasium Brno, organised three months study course of three Serbian students from the First and Second Kragujevec Gymnasium, who attend Czech language courses in Kragujevac.

During the 14th to 26th of August at the premises of Secondary School of Electrical Engineering and Energy Sokolnice, took place the intensive Czech language courses for students from Serbia and Croatia. The project of linguistic preparations KJMK, p. o. for the students of Czech langugage from Kragujevec and Arandjelovec and their Croatian neighbors, students from the University of Zadar, included an intensive ten-day classes and accommodation inthe premises of above mentioned Secondary School Sokolnice.
