  • In cooperation with the department of education of Regional Office of South Moravian Region we organized Photo Contest for secondary/high school students that took place during October and November (18. 10. - 14. 11.). Three winners of the contest received awards on the Thursday, 15th of December 2016 at the Brno headquarters of the regional office by the regional council president Bohumil Simek, along with councillor Jane Pejchalova.

    On Monday, 5th of December the evening of short film from the Visegrad Group took place at place Flagey in Brussels.The representant of Czech Republic was the film called Irresponsible Loves by Katka Hornova, director and screenwriter from Hodonin. The film was chosen by the Permanent Representation of Czech Republic to the European Union on the basis of several films recommendations made by the Representation of the South Moravian Region to the EU in cooperation with relevant departments from the Regional Office of South Moravian Region.

Masaryk and his understanding of the problem of small nations in "New Europe".

    During the Days of Czech culture in Kragujevec on 10th of October, 2016, the opening of the exhibition dedicated to Czech family Fialových took place. Fialovy family came to Kragujevec in late 70s of the 19th century started a successful business in these times underdeveloped Serbia and soon was among the most important and richest industrialists in the country. The ceremonial opening, took place at the premises of the building of the National Library "Vuk Karadzic 'in Kragujevec ,attended students of Czech language in Kragujevac, along with their teacher Jan Zorbič.
